Terms of use

Last updated: 5 October 2026

In short

1. Who we are

HodlClock (hodlclock.com and the HodlClock app) is operated by Joey s. r. o., Mudroňova 2388/25, 921 01 Piešťany, Slovak Republic, Company ID (IČO) 56564350, Tax ID (DIČ) 2122345665, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Trnava, Section Sro, Insert No. 57748/T (“we”). Contact: hodlclock@gmail.com. By using HodlClock you agree to these terms.

2. What HodlClock is, and what it is not

HodlClock displays the value of an amount of bitcoin that you enter, using prices and exchange rates from third parties. It is a display and visualisation tool for information and entertainment.

3. Your data

Data you enter is stored only on your device (see the Privacy page). We have no copy, so we cannot recover it if your browser data is cleared or your device is lost. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.

4. HodlClock Pro

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep HodlClock running, but we do not guarantee that it is always available, error-free or that any particular feature will remain. Price providers may stop working or change. We may update, change or discontinue parts of HodlClock. If we ever discontinue Pro, active subscriptions will not be renewed.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse HodlClock or its services, for example by attacking or overloading them, trying to bypass the license check, or using them to break the law.

7. Intellectual property

The HodlClock software, source code, name and branding belong to the operator except for third-party or public-domain components. If source code is made publicly available, the license stated with that release governs its use. The bitcoin logo is in the public domain. Names of models, exchanges, people and companies belong to their owners; HodlClock is not affiliated with them.

8. Liability

HodlClock is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, trading or investment decisions made on the basis of HodlClock, or losses caused by inaccurate, delayed or unavailable third-party data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in the courts there. Consumers in Slovakia can also use alternative dispute resolution under Act No. 391/2015 Coll., for example through the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Important changes for Pro subscribers will be announced in the app.
